Abstract

The advancement of digital technology in the cultural sector has encouraged the development of e-Museums as an alternative medium for introducing history and culture, especially to the younger generation. One such platform is museumindonesia.org, which provides virtual tours as an interactive way to learn about Indonesian history. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing user acceptance of the e-Museum using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The research model includes six variables: Facilitating Condition, Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, Attitude Toward Using, Behavioral Intention, and Actual Use. A quantitative approach was employed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) method. Data were collected from 123 respondents who had accessed the museumindonesia.org website. The results indicate that all hypotheses were accepted, showing that Perceived Ease of Use and Perceived Usefulness significantly influence user attitudes and intentions, while Behavioral Intention strongly affects Actual Use. These findings are expected to serve as a strategic reference for the further development of web-based e-Museum services.
