Abstract

The manual employee recruitment process at PT. Mutiara Putri Gemilang has led to various issues, such as high subjectivity and inefficiency in documentation. The manual approach is unable to provide a structured and objective evaluation of candidates based on specific criteria. Therefore, this study aims to develop a Decision Support System for employee recruitment by integrating the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Profile Matching (PM) methods to improve the quality and accuracy of the selection process. The system was developed using the Waterfall approach, which includes requirement analysis, system design, coding, and testing stages. AHP was used to determine the weight of each selection criterion, while Profile Matching was applied to assess the suitability of candidates based on these weights. The AHP calculation produced a Consistency Ratio (CR) of 0.0841, which is within the acceptable limit (CR < 0.1), with the following criterion weights: Education (0.4694), Ability (0.2740), Experience (0.1459), Interview (0.0754), and Supporting Certificates (0.0352). The system was tested using both manual methods via Microsoft Excel and Black Box Testing, showing 100% calculation accuracy and stable, reliable system functionality.
