Abstract
This research was conducted in Lamongan Regency to analyze the impact of public transportation development of Trans Jatim Bus Corridor IV on labor mobility and economic productivity. This study employed a quantitative approach with simple linear regression analysis technique. The population in this study consisted of users of Trans Jatim Bus Corridor IV services in Lamongan Regency, with a sample size of 100 respondents selected using purposive sampling technique. The research results indicate that public transportation development has a positive and significant effect on labor mobility. Public transportation has proven to facilitate access to workplaces, expand job search areas, and reduce transportation costs. Furthermore, public transportation development also has a positive and significant effect on economic productivity, particularly in improving work efficiency, punctuality, and access to economic activity centers. These findings demonstrate that public transportation plays a strategic role in supporting regional economic development.
