Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital financial services in Indonesia has led to significant growth in user adoption. Bank Jago emerged as one of the pioneers in digital banking, recording the highest number of users in 2022. However, many users have expressed dissatisfaction with the performance of the application. In response to this issue, this study aimed to evaluate user acceptance of the Bank Jago application using a modified UTAUT2 model by adding two additional variables: Trust and Risk, as well as the moderating variables Age and Gender. This research applied a quantitative method with PLS-SEM approach. The study involved 584 respondents, selected using a simple random sampling technique based on Slovin’s formula from a population of active Bank Jago users. The evaluation results showed that out of twelve proposed hypotheses, six were accepted. Variables that had a positive and significant effect on Behavioral Intention were Performance Expectancy, Social Influence, Price Value, and Trust. Furthermore, Habit and Behavioral Intention significantly influenced Use Behavior. The study also found that Age significantly moderated the relationship between Effort Expectancy and Behavioral Intention, particularly among younger users. These findings are expected to provide insights for developing marketing strategies and feature enhancements in the Bank Jago application based on user segmentation, and also serve as a reference for other digital financial institutions aiming to increase technology adoption.
