Abstract
This study aims to evaluate the testing results of the Internship Management Information System (SIMM) website at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Surabaya City, from both functional and non-functional aspects. The testing was conducted using a Black Box Testing approach and supported by automation testing tools. The presence of SIMM serves as a strategic step in improving the quality of internship administrative services and facilitating coordination among interns, supervisors, and internal staff of the Ministry. However, to ensure the system operates optimally and enhances overall effectiveness, a structured testing process is necessary to assess both its functional and non-functional quality, minimizing risks and ensuring the system is operationally feasible. Functional testing results indicate the system achieved an effectiveness rate of 95.8%. One test case was marked as pending for the attendance feature under the intern role due to device limitations, as the laptop used lacked sufficient GPS capabilities. Non-functional testing covered six main aspects: performance, security, usability, compatibility, speed, and portability. The average effectiveness score for non-functional testing was 81.25%, with portability and compatibility achieving a perfect score of 100%, while performance and speed showed lower effectiveness, scoring below 60%. Overall, the combined effectiveness of both functional and non-functional testing results in a total system effectiveness score of 82%.
