Abstract

This study aims to identify the risks that occur in the beef supply business process in PD. Surya Slaughterhouse, Surabaya City. Since January 2020 until June 2023, there has been a COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia. The occurrence of this pandemic can be a risk that has a significant impact on companies and can be a threat to food availability, especially beef in the city of Surabaya. This study aims to identify the risks that occur and identify risk management strategies in each business process chain in PD. Solar Slaughterhouse. Data analysis in this study used descriptive qualitative methods with case study research techniques. The analytical tool used in this study is the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) approach. Data collection was carried out by surveys, interviews and expert questionnaires. The results showed that out of 7 business process chains, 26 risk events and 25 risk sources were identified, where 10 risk sources were prioritized to be dealt with first, and 7 of the 12 most appropriate mitigation actions were selected to address priority risks.
