Abstract

MyPertamina is a digital application launched by PT Pertamina as a transaction and customer loyalty platform that supports the fuel subsidy policy. Despite offering various features such as cashless payments, point tracking, and product information services, the application faces challenges in user acceptance, as reflected in user reviews on application download platforms. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing public acceptance of the MyPertamina application by employing the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), which has been modified by incorporating external variables such as perceived trust, perceived risk, perceived security, service quality, and citizen support. This research adopts a quantitative approach using Partial Least Squares– Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), analyzed with the SmartPLS software. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to 401 users of the MyPertamina application, selected through random sampling. The results reveal that out of the eleven proposed hypotheses, eight are statistically significant in influencing application acceptance, while the remaining three are rejected. The findings highlight that factors such as perceived usefulness, service quality, and citizen support play a crucial role in shaping users' attitudes and intentions to continue using the application. This study implies that the MyPertamina management should enhance service quality, trust, and user support to improve the technological acceptance among the public.
