Abstract

Tourism villages are the driving force of the economy in Indonesia, one of which is a tourism village in Kediri Regency, namely the Gronjong Wariti Tourism Object in Mejono Village, Plemahan District. The utilization of the river flow in the middle of the residential area has made this tourist attraction develop greatly and has succeeded in obtaining the 2019 Kediri Regency Tourism Village Award with the Innovative Village category. The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze collaborative governance in the development of the Gronjong Wariti Tourism Object in Mejono Village, Plemahan District, Kediri Regency. This study was analyzed using the collaborative governance model from Ansell and Gash (2007) which has four aspects, namely initial conditions, institutional design, leadership and collaboration processes. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach using observation and interview methods in data collection. The results of this study explain that the collaborative model for the development of the Gronjong Wariti Tourism Object involves several parties including BUMDesa Hapsari, UMKM actors, and the Mejono Village community. In this study, it is explained that the collaboration process was carried out well, although there were still shortcomings and obstacles in its implementation, but these could be overcome well and did not disrupt the collaboration process.
