Abstract
ABSTRACT The American film industry is the largest industry with the highest popularity globally. Currently, England is also starting to develop the British film industry, one of the attractions offered by England in British film production is the tax relief policy for films that highlight elements of character, place and heritage from British culture. With this tax relief policy, the American film industry is starting to be interested in investing in film production and Highend TV with a British background. This study aims to determine the value chain of American film industry production in England in the Bridgerton Series using the Global Film Value Chain concept by Voldere. Through this concept, this study will develop a mapping process starting from the creation process to the exhibition in the Bridgerton series season 3 by Netflix. The method used is a descriptive-qualitative method that will analyze the Global Film Value Chain phenomenon in the Bridgerton series season 3. From this study, it was concluded that the Bridgerton series production process has gone through all stages in the main part of production consisting of creation, production, distribution, to exhibition which is carried out globally and involves actors across national borders. Keywords: Film Industry, Global Film Value Chain, Netflix, Bridgerton Series
