Abstract
The Merdeka Campus Certified Independent Study and Internship Program provides opportunities for students to hone and gain skills, knowledge and attitudes in the industrial world by working and learning directly in projects or real problems. Learning experience outside of college for more than 16 weeks to 24 weeks with structured learning activities will limit student credits. The Bangkit Academy 2023 Certified Independent Study Program is a learning program led by Google with the support of GoTo, Traveloka, and the DeepTech Foundation. Certified Independent Study Engagement Android learning path includes both individual study and a final project in team form. In individual learning, each participant will attend classes in asynchronous form (online through learning modules at Dicoding Academy, Coursera, and Qwiklabs) where participants can consult with experts regarding the material they are studying through discussion forums. In the final project, participants will be divided into groups, where one group consists of 5-6 people with a theme determined by each group and must obtain approval from the mentor. After participating in this program, participants are also prepared to take the global Associate Android Developer certification exam from Google which can be taken after participating in this Independent Study activity.
