Abstract
This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) in the Madura region with the variables of Average School Length (RLS), Miabupaten Wage (UMK) and Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) in the Madura region which includes Bangkalan, Sampang, Pamekasan, and Sumenep Regencies. The research method used is a quantitative approach with panel data regression analysis techniques. Secondary data was obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) during the period 2014 to 2023. The results of the analysis showed that the average length of school (RLS) and the district minimum wage (MSE) had a positive and significant effect on TPAK. Meanwhile, the open unemployment rate (TPT) do not have a significant effect on TPAK. The results of this study emphasize the importance of improving the quality of education and policies regarding the increase in the minimum wage, which provide real economic incentives for the working-age population as a key to enhancing workforce participation in the Madura region.
