Abstract
This study, conducted by Thomas Ferdiansyah, aims to analyze the influence of motivation, work discipline, and workload on employee job satisfaction at PT Haleyora Powerindo Surabaya. In today’s dynamic work environment, employee job satisfaction is a crucial factor affecting productivity, loyalty, and commitment to the organization. Motivation is seen as the primary driver that boosts employees’ enthusiasm and performance in achieving organizational goals. Work discipline reflects the extent to which employees comply with rules and consistently fulfill their responsibilities. Meanwhile, workload represents the volume and complexity of tasks that can impact employees’ physical and mental well-being. This study employs a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression to analyze data collected from questionnaires distributed to employees. The results indicate that motivation and work discipline have a significant positive effect on job satisfaction. Conversely, workload has a negative effect, meaning that higher perceived workload tends to reduce job satisfaction. These findings highlight the importance of management in developing strategies that enhance motivation, reinforce a culture of discipline, and manage workload proportionally to create a healthy and productive work environment. The implications of this study can serve as a basis for managerial decision-making aimed at establishing a work system focused on improving overall employee satisfaction and performance.
