Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of competence and work motivation on employee performance at PT PAL Indonesia. Competence and work motivation are key factors in improving employee productivity and effectiveness within the company. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 92 respondents who are employees of PT PAL Indonesia. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that competence has a positive and significant impact on employee performance. Similarly, work motivation also positively and significantly affects employee performance. Furthermore, competence and work motivation simultaneously have a significant impact on employee performance. These findings suggest that enhancing competence and work motivation can improve overall employee performance. Therefore, the company is advised to continuously develop training programs and provide appropriate incentives to enhance employee motivation and competence.
