Abstract
pPublic information disclosure is a characteristic of a country that has a government system that involves active participation of the community and has the main objective of realizing good governance. Public information disclosure in Indonesia is contained in Law No. 14/2008. Public information disclosure in East Java Province is managed by the Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID). This study aims to analyze and describe the strategy of public information disclosure services through the Information Management and Documentation Officer of East Java Province in realizing good governance. The research method used is a case study with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The theory used in this research is SOAR analysis theory (Strenghts, Opportunities, Aspirations, and Results). The results of this study indicate that the strategies implemented by the East Java Provincial Information Documentation and Management Officer in implementing public information disclosure services include 1) Strenghts (strengths) owned by PPID, namely coordinating and providing assistance to all PPID implementers regarding public information disclosure services 2) Opportunities owned by the East Java Provincial PPID, namely utilizing technological advances in providing public information and utilizing internal infrastructure owned by the East Java Provincial Communication and Information Office as the main PPID. 3) Aspirations obtained from other stakeholders are well received by PPID managers, such as additional human resources in supporting public information disclosure. 4) Results obtained by the PPID of East Java Province in public information disclosure, namely East Java Province always develops forward and maintains an informative category every year.
