Abstract

QRIS (Quick Response Indonesian Standard) is a QR Code-based non- cash payment system launched by Bank Indonesia to facilitate digital transactions and increase Indonesia's financial inclusion. Even though the number of users continues to increase, QRIS adoption still faces challenges related to security issues, such as QRIS counterfeiting and fraud. This research aims to evaluate the variables that influence the adoption of QRIS as a daily payment method for Generation Z, using a modified Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The main variables used are Perceived Usefulness and Perceived Ease of Use, as well as additional variables such as Trust, Perceived Enjoyment, Innovation, Behavior Intention, and Adoption. Data was collected from 400 respondents using Purposive Sampling techniques distributed online, then analyzed using PLS-SEM to identify and measure relationships between variables in the model. The research results show that Trust, Innovation, and Perceived Usefulness have a significant effect on Behavior Intention (T-statistics ≥ 2.834, P- Value ≤ 0.002). Trust and Perceived Enjoyment have a significant effect on Perceived Usefulness (T-statistics ≥ 6.581, P-Value = 0.000). Behavior Intention has a significant effect on Adoption (T-statistics = 21.092, P-Value = 0.000). Meanwhile, Perceived Enjoyment (T-statistics = 0.984, P-Value = 0.163) and Perceived Ease of Use (T-statistics = 1.433, P-Value = 0.076) did not have a significant effect on Behavior Intention.
