Abstract

In the digital era, video games and music streaming are growing very rapidly. Many gamers face the challenge of time efficiency when playing, especially when it comes to listening to music and communicating with teammates in video games. With the Discord platform which provides voice channel space for gamers to communicate and command Discord bots, time efficiency will be very possible. The aim of writing this report is to create a Discord bot that can efficiently search, stream, and provide recommendations to users in order to save time when communicating and playing video games. By integrating the Spotify API and YouTube API to retrieve attributes and broadcast music, the K-Means method can be applied in the Spotify API to perform music recommendations. By implementing a Discord bot that can broadcast and recommend music, a more focused and enjoyable gaming experience will be created for gamers.
