Abstract
This study includes several interrelated variables that aim to analyze the influence of digital transformation, management capabilities or abilities, and R&D intensity on a company's performance, with political connections and company performance as moderating variables. This study uses purposive sampling with 105 financial reports of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) as research samples. Data were analyzed using the SEM-PLS analysis method. The findings show that digital transformation, managerial capability and R&D intensity have a significant influence on firm performance. In addition, environmental performance and political connections have a significant influence on the relationship between independent variables and firm performance. This study provides an important contribution to the understanding of strategic factors that influence firm performance, especially in the banking industry. Keywords: digital transformation, managerial capabilities, R&D intensity, firm performance, environmental performance, and political connections.
