Abstract
This study was conducted with the aim to find out how the acceptance of Generation Millennials Surabaya to the meaning of beauty that is displayed in the beauty vlog on Youtube Channel. Often a beautiful figure in the mass media depicted or identical to white skin, black hair, thick and straight, slim, and others. While the Millennials Generation has a multicultural character, open minded and adaptive to a trend. Reception analysis is a method for knowing how audiences understand, interpret the message content based on their experiences and views during interaction and media assumptions. The results of the study found Millennials Surabaya has a variety of beautiful meaning. This is influenced by several factors, such as the assessment of the people closest to family and friends. As well as the diversity of beautiful figures featured in the show beauty vlog on Youtube Channel today. Keywords: Reception Analysis, The Meaning of Beauty, Millennials Generation
