Abstract

The demographic bonus that will peak in 2024 provides opportunities and challenges for Indonesia, especially for Generation Z who face low financial literacy and consumer habits. This condition increases the risk of financial problems, such as using online loans without sufficient understanding. Therefore, a financial management application is needed to help this generation improve financial literacy and manage their budgets more wisely. This study aims to develop an application that implements a financial allocation method and provides financial education to help users plan and manage their finances. Application development was carried out using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, with data collection through surveys to determine user needs, observations of similar applications, and interviews with financial experts. In the development process, interface testing was carried out using the System Usability Scale (SUS) which produced a score of 77, as well as black-box testing with the Equivalence Partitioning technique, which showed adequate test results. This application is expected to be a practical tool to support better financial planning among the younger generation.
