Abstract

This research analyzes the enforcement of law against fraud crimes through social media in Surabaya. Using a juridical-empirical method, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document studies. The results show that although there are mechanisms for law enforcement, their implementation is hindered by limitations in technology and human resources, as well as the absence of a dedicated cybercrime unit. Efforts to address these challenges include collaboration with social media platforms, strengthening investigator capacity, and improving digital literacy in the community. This study aims to provide insights and recommendations for improving the law enforcement system at the Surabaya Polrestabes. Keywords: Law Enforcement, Criminal Offenses, Social Media.
