Abstract

Traffic accidents, road closures, community activities, and various similar incidents are examples of incidents that occur on the highway. Because of this, many road users cannot use their time efficiently when going somewhere. This research aims to provide a solution in the form of an application interface that provides information on various incidents on the highway so that road users can avoid traffic jams. This research uses the Design Thinking method to identify user needs and test the results of design solutions created using the Usability Testing method. Apart from that, there is additional testing using the Computer System Usability Questionnaire (CSUQ) method for testing that focuses on the application interface. The results of the final iteration of the Usability Testing test showed a Learnability value of 100%, Efficiency 97.71%, Memorability 100%, Errors 9.66%, and Satisfaction 90%. Then the results of the Computer System Usability Questionnaire (CSUQ) test gave a value of 6.5, indicating that the respondents agreed with each statement given. Final iteration testing shows that all assessments and testing methods applied to the design of the road incident reporting application provide excellent results.
