Abstract
Ar-Rozy Regional Hospital Probolinggo is located in the East Java region with the potential for earthquakes and wind turbulence. The oval-shaped F1 building needs to be planned with a high level of safety because it functions as a hospital and has a non-parallel system irregularity. From the various problems that exist, the oval building needs to be planned to anticipate structural failure. In this final project, the author modifies the existing building to 16 floors by adding shear walls and considering diaphragms as lateral reinforcement. The method for performance evaluation refers to ATC-40 regulations and performance analysis using nonlinear static analysis (pushover) so as to determine the level of structural performance. The 350 mm thick shear wall in the body or web area uses D29-100 vertical reinforcement, while in the column boundary element area it uses 24D29 vertical reinforcement. The diaphragm component for the chord element requires 6D22 reinforcement for reinforcement in the x direction and 3D22 for reinforcement in the y direction. The chord reinforcement in each direction was installed at ¼ of the building span. The results of the collector element interaction diagram show that the five collector beams are able to resist the axial force and bending moment due to the collector force. The structural performance results are determined in the x direction which has the largest displacement to height ratio value of 0.007, including the Immediate Occupancy (IO) category. The ductility value of the structure is taken in the x direction which is 2.80. With a value of 2.80, the hospital building structure is categorized in the partial ductility level and still behaves elastically when designed with a dynamic earthquake response spectrum in the Probolinggo City area.
