Abstract
The high unemployment rate is one of the main issues in Banten Province. In 2023 Banten Province was declared the province with the highest unemployment rate in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the unemployment rate in Banten Province, focusing on variables such as minimum wage, education level, and economic growth over the period of 2009–2023. The data used in this research were sourced from official government reports and analyzed using multiple linear regression methods with IBM SPSS Statistics 26 software. The results of the analysis indicate that minimum wage, economic growth, and education level significantly affect the unemployment rate. This research is expected to provide input for policymakers in formulating strategies to sustainably reduce unemployment in Banten Province.
