Abstract
This study analyzes the media framing of election fraud issues in the 2024 election through the documentary film Dirty Vote. The research method used is framing analysis with a descriptive qualitative approach, employing the model of Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki. This model consists of four structures of analysis: syntactic, script, thematic, and rhetorical. The results of the study show that Dirty Vote frames election fraud as a major threat to democracy in Indonesia. The film presents a narrative that depicts manipulation by political elites as a systematic strategy, highlighting various actions such as the appointment of nonneutral officials, the politicization of social aid, and the disregard for principles of justice. However, the critical analysis by the researcher indicates that the narrative in the film is not entirely accurate. Some of the data used tends to be selective and does not provide a comprehensive perspective. Furthermore, the background of the sources and some of the data in the film should be considered when evaluating the independence of the narrative presented. The study concludes that the public needs to be more critical of the framing in the media, especially when media is used as a political tool. Keywords: Framing Analysis, 2024 Election, Dirty Vote
