Abstract
Risk management in the procurement of goods and services plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of a company’s supply chain, especially in complex industries such as mining. This study aims to identify risks and their causes in the procurement process at the Logistics Department of PT Adaro Indonesia and formulate appropriate mitigation strategies. The House of Risk (HOR) method was employed to analyze and prioritize risks based on their Aggregate Risk Potential (ARP) values and to determine optimal mitigation measures. The findings reveal several key risks, such as delayed delivery of goods, urgent demands exceeding normal stock levels, and errors in product specifications. Using HOR Phase 1, these risks were prioritized based on their impact and frequency. In HOR Phase 2, mitigation strategies were developed considering their effectiveness and ease of implementation. Implementing these strategies is expected to reduce risk potential and improve overall supply chain performance. This study contributes to PT Adaro Indonesia’s management by providing a framework for more effective and efficient risk prevention measures and serves as a reference for future research in supply chain risk management.
