Abstract

This Field Work Practice (PKL) research report documents the experience and application of the latest technology in the Development of the PPOB Application (ProjoPay). The main focus of this project is to use the React Native framework to design the application interface and Laravel as the back-end framework. The choice of React Native is based on its ability to structure modular components, having a comprehensive library, and facilitating user experience on the PPOB (Payment Point Online Bank) application. With React Native, developers can create responsive and fast applications that support various platforms with almost the same code. Additionally, the use of React Native allows for instant updates without requiring users to re-download the application from the app store. Meanwhile, Laravel is used to create APIs efficiently and ensure optimal data security. This framework is known for its MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture which facilitates the separation of business logic and presentation, making the code more structured and easier to maintain. Laravel also offers features such as Eloquent ORM (Object-Relational Mapping), middleware for security, and various other tools that speed up development and ensure application quality. This project not only explores the potential of React Native and Laravel technologies in the context of the PPOB application but also evaluates their impact on the speed of development and overall project efficiency. With this combination, it is expected that the development of PPOB applications can be done faster, safer, and more efficiently. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide practical guidelines for developers interested in adopting this technology in the development of PPOB applications, with the aim of enhancing interactivity and user experience. Additionally, this research also records the challenges and solutions encountered during development, providing valuable insights for future developers. In conclusion, the use of React Native and Laravel can be a very effective combination for the development of fintech applications that require speed, security, and optimal user experience.
