Abstract

Training and work discipline are two important factors that influence the quality of service in an organization. Effective training can enhance employee competence and skills, while work discipline helps ensure that employees adhere to established rules and standards. These two factors play a crucial role in shaping the quality of service provided by outsourcing employees at the Department of Transportation of Surabaya City. This study aims to analyze the impact of training and work discipline on the service quality of outsourcing employees at the Department of Transportation of Surabaya City. Training and work discipline are key factors that can improve the service quality of employees within an organization. Effective training helps outsourcing employees enhance their competence and skills, while good work discipline ensures that employees comply with rules and standards, resulting in optimal service delivery. The study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method, collecting data through questionnaires distributed to outsourcing employees at the Department of Transportation of Surabaya City. The research sample consists of 65 outsourcing employees selected through a saturated sampling method. The data obtained were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results show that training and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on the service quality of outsourcing employees. This indicates that the better the training and work discipline provided, the higher the quality of service delivered by outsourcing employees. Keywords: Training, Work Discipline, Service Quality.
