Abstract
Financial report analysis is needed by shareholders, especially investors, to assess the company's financial performance. The purpose of this research is to analyze the financial performance of the company PT. Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk and PT. Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk for the 2018-2022 period was measured using the EVA and MVA methods and analyzed the interpretation of financial performance using the EVA and MVA methods and recommendations for improving company performance. This research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach using secondary data in the form of PT financial reports. Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk and PT. Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk for the 2018-2022 period published on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The results of this research indicate that PT. Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk and PT. Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk has been able to produce economic added value for the company as seen from the positive EVA value for the 5 periods 2018-2022. Both companies are also able to produce positive MVA value so that they can provide added market value to the company and provide wealth for investors. If we look at the results of the EVA and MVA values, PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk is superior and has better financial performance. Recommendations for improving company performance include adding technology such as smart farming with IoT (Internet of Thing) technology for livestock monitoring.
