Abstract
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the E-Court system in the resolution of civil cases at the Madiun District Court and to understand the role of the Madiun District Court in addressing the challenges of E-Court for registrants. The type of research used in this thesis research is empirical juridical research. In this case, by referring to data sources obtained from interviews with several related parties at the Madiun Regency District Court, legislation and other literature. The effectiveness of the E-Court system in resolving civil cases at the Madiun Regency District Court can be said to be effective, because the data on civil cases resolved in an elitist manner has increased every year. However, there are still problems with the e-court system for registrants, namely dealing with the system/server itself, and also human error, and also obstacles. Based on these obstacles, there are efforts being made to overcome them, namely collaborating with the IT Staff of the Madiun Regency District Court to Minimizing the occurrence of system errors/trouble while the trial is in progress, Establishing good communication, preparing everything carefully, as well as increasing human resources both with more intensive socialization regarding E-Court and also increasing human resources both internally and externally.
