Abstract
Currently, the development of science and technology (IPTEK) is progressing very rapidly, this is in line with the development of an increasingly modern era. Digital wallets have become one of the latest innovations in electronic payment systems. Shopee often offers promotions that make users feel benefited if they make payments using ShopeePay, such as cashback when paying bills or buying credit or tickets. Behind the convenience offered in using the ShopeePay payment method, there are also drawbacks that affect consumers in using. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of the perception of ease of use and promotion of cashback vouchers on the interest in using the ShopeePay digital wallet in Generation Z in the city of Surabaya. This research method uses quantitative. Data collection was carried out by providing a questionnaire to 96 respondents who used the ShopeePay digital wallet in generation Z in the city of Surabaya. The data obtained was then analyzed using variance-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The approach, also known as the alternative SEM method uses Partial Least Square (PLS SEM) software. The findings of this study show that the perception of ease of use and promotion of cashback vouchers has a positive and significant effect on the interest in using the ShopeePay digital wallet in generation Z in the city of Surabaya.
