Abstract

The increasing use of the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) has become a significant phenomenon in the realm of digital transactions. This study aims to identify the factors influencing the intention and behavior of QRIS usage among students of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jawa Timur, utilizing the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model. This research employs primary data obtained through questionnaires distributed to 100 students. The collected data were analyzed using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test the relationships between performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions on the intention and behavior of QRIS usage. The findings indicate that performance expectancy and social influence significantly impact the intention to use QRIS. Moreover, effort expectancy and facilitating conditions significantly affect QRIS usage behavior. These findings suggest that these factors should be considered to enhance QRIS adoption among students.
