Abstract
This study aims to design and build an E-Rapor Information System based on the Independent Curriculum using the Prototyping method. The background of this study is the need for a system that can improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the student evaluation process in schools that implement the Independent Curriculum. The Prototyping method was chosen because it allows developers to develop the system iteratively with continuous feedback from users, thus ensuring that the resulting system is in accordance with user needs. The research process begins with the needs analysis stage through interviews and observations at the Inteleqsia Students Sidoarjo Education and Training Institute. Furthermore, an initial design was carried out in the form of making sketches and mockups of the user interface. The system prototype was then developed using the Laravel framework, and includes several main features such as student data management, teachers, Report cards, and extracurricular activities. System evaluation was carried out by involving end users (teachers, students, and school administrators) to obtain feedback used in refining the prototype. The test results showed that the system built was able to meet user needs in managing the student evaluation process in accordance with the Independent Curriculum. The conclusion of this study is that the Prototyping method is effective in developing an E-Rapor Information System that is responsive to user needs. Recommendations for further research include the development of additional features and improvements to the user interface to make the system easier to use.
