Abstract

Labor or employees are an important foundation in measuring national development. The workforce must have a very important role and position as a component actor to be able to achieve these development goals. Therefore, development is needed in the employment sector in order to improve the quality of the workforce. The aim of this research is to find out the legal aspects of protection for migrant workers who intend to work abroad so that they can understand the placement conditions in which workers will be placed in the country they are going to. The method in this research is normative juridical. Primary and secondary legal materials that have been obtained from collecting legal materials through reading are related to regulations related to laws, official documents and literature used as library materials. Analysis method using qualitative descriptive. The results of this research are a form of effort to protect the interests of prospective Indonesian Migrant Workers and also of their families to realize the guaranteed form of treatment of their rights in all forms of activities before work, during work and after work within the scope of legal aspects, economic and social.
