Abstract

In this era of industrial revolution 4.0, technological developments are becoming more rapid day by day. This opportunity is utilized well, one of which is by Bank Syariah Indonesia. BSI Mobile is one of the mobile banking services provided by Bank Syariah Indonesia. However, recently customers were shocked by a data leak case that occurred at BSI. With the data leak case at BSI, of course this will have an impact on customers where most customers are made doubtful about the services and security guarantees provided by BSI. Therefore, this thesis aims to evaluate what acceptance factors influence user acceptance of the BSI Mobile application. This thesis uses a conceptual model that integrates the TAM and Religiosity-Intention models. This model includes six variables: perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, religiosity, user satisfaction, intention to use and adoption. The test was conducted using the SEM-PLS technique with SmartPLS 4 software and involved 406 respondents. The results of the study indicate that perceived usefulness has a significant effect on user satisfaction, perceived ease of use has a significant effect on user satisfaction and intention to use, religiosity has a significant effect on user satisfaction, user satisfaction has a significant effect on intention to use, and intention to use has a significant effect on adoption. These findings provide insights that can be used to improve and enhance the BSI Mobile application to encourage user adoption intentions in the future.
