Abstract

As a country with thousands of islands, Indonesia has a lot of great natural and cultural tourism potential. One of Indonesia's largest foreign exchange earners is the tourism sector. Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) on national tourism developments in March 2023, entering the third month of 2023, visits by foreign tourists (tourists) in Indonesia reached 809.96 thousand visits. One of the keys to the successful development of the tourism sector in Indonesia is the development of infrastructure and amenities around tourist attractions. Tourist areas in Mojokerto, especially natural tourist areas, are quite popular with tourists. However, the large number of visitors is not accompanied by an adequate number of accommodation accommodations. In accordance with the Mojokerto Regency Regional Spatial Planning (RTRW) regarding the allocation of natural tourism, article 47 paragraph 3 reads "The mountain natural tourism area is located in Pacet District, Ngoro District, Jatirejo District, Gondang District and Trawas District." The history, culture and nature of Mojokerto will be studied thoroughly in this design. This resort was designed by considering neo vernacular elements such as the use of natural materials, traditional architecture and collaboration with the environment. All facilities and activities at the Resort are carefully selected to showcase local wisdom and provide visitors with a memorable experience. The resort in Mojokerto is expected to be a unique destination that combines natural beauty, local culture and modern comfort designed through a metaphorical approach. The design focuses not only on creating a stunning building, but also on providing a broad experience for visitors, which will build relationships with the local community and have a positive impact on the environment.
