Abstract
The tourism potential of Surabaya City continues to increase in line with efforts to re-brand the City of Heroes by strengthening the city's heritage. Known as the City of Heroes, Surabaya has many historical relics that can attract tourists. The city of Surabaya, which currently does not have a By - By Center that can be a tourist destination that combines shopping experiences, historical tours, and culinary tours in one place which is also equipped with a large-scale public discussion room, is the basis for the idea of designing a By - By Center in the city of Surabaya with a Historicism Architecture Approach. The design of By - By Center in Surabaya City with Historicism Architecture Approach must consider the balance between preserving history and culture by presenting an interesting modern experience for visitors. This design has the aim of being the right promotion and sales place for MSME products from all corners of Surabaya City which can improve the economy and regional income and provide space for local traders to sell souvenirs. The results of this research are expected to be a solution for a By - By Center that can represent the branding of the City of Heroes from Surabaya City.
