Abstract
The development of the era accompanied by the rise of the economy has resulted in a shift in values in society. Originally, only the father worked to support the family, now the mother is also required to work outside the home as an effort to meet the needs of the family. Unfortunately, the shift in the role of values in society has a negative impact on childcare patterns and child growth and development, especially for children who are in the golden phase of early childhood starting from the age of 0 - 6 years. The golden phase of children is very influential for intelligence in the future because at that time the child's brain ability moves so rapidly. One of the provinces that experiences a pattern of inappropriate parenting for children is West Java. The province is ranked 15th out of 34 provinces in Indonesia. Bekasi, which is a city located in West Java Province, contributes 46.09% of working women. The occurrence of a shift in values in society that coexists with the growth and development of children and the pattern of childcare is not appropriate to provide dilemmatic anxiety for parents. Foster care is the answer to the anxiety experienced by working parents. Apart from the activities available in the nursery, the design concept that suits the character and needs of the child can also add value to the design as a learning medium for children. Architecture and Human Senses is an architectural approach based on human senses and is believed to help children grow and develop by training their motor and sensory skills. The concept of the appearance of this design will resemble a house which has the meaning that the nursery is a second home for children with the condition of both working parents. The method used in this design is behaviorology based on human behavior which is closely related to natural and human behavior. As a second home for children, this nursery also has school facilities so that children will get formal education according to their age.
