Abstract
The development of current cultural trends has made TikTok social media one of the media that is widely used by media industry players to create informative and creative content. Media Radio continues to innovate in broadcasting and creating programs that are of interest to the audience. As done by Media EBS FM Surabaya, it uses TikTok as a medium to build an image and reach a larger audience by creating video content around K-pop information. The video content of the TikTok account @ebsfmdaebakclub has visual elements and topic content that attracts the audience. This research uses a descriptive quantitative content analysis method. The reliability test data analysis technique uses the Holsti formula. The sample in this study contained 39 TikTok @ebsfmdaebakclub video content for the period 01 October 2023 - 30 November 2023. The results of this research show that the reliability test for the visual elements category is very high and the message appeals category, namely information appeals, is often used by EBS FM Surabaya and gets the highest engagement of 12,420,771 or 41% of the total. The application of visual elements and message appeals in a communication strategy must be appropriate and in accordance with the needs of the audience. This was done by EBS FM Surabaya in the TikTok video content @ebsfmdaebakclub by applying visual elements and message appeals effectively, the content can be more interesting, informative and persuasive, so that it can achieve communication goals and get high engagement.
