Abstract
In a multi-storey building construction project, there are parties involved in the project or also known as stakeholders. The relationship between these stakeholders generally has the potential for conflict between one another which can cause risks in the project. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the influence of project communication factors with project risk factors using multivariate analysis using SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modeling) software. The analysis was carried out on communication factors consisting of performance reports, use of facilities and technology, information delivery, communication skills, and coordination relationships against risk factors consisting of design risk, labor risk, resource risk, political & social risk, contractual risk, technical & implementation risk, management risk. Most of the research results using SEM-PLS analysis are in accordance with the hypothesis, but there are some research results that differ from the hypothesis used, namely the coordination relationship variable has no effect on the design risk variable, the communication ability variable and the coordination relationship has no effect on management risk.
