Abstract

TOGI Resource Management System (TRMS) is a project based on an understanding of web development within the context of the Independent Internship for MBKM (Independent Learning Program for Enhancing Student Competence) at PT. Monster Group, with a focus on development with backgrounds in data analysis and web development. In order to enhance resource management efficiency and effectiveness, the TRMS application was developed as a responsive solution to contemporary needs. By utilizing various programming languages such as Go Language, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with the GoFiber framework and PostgreSQL database, Monster Group designed this application as a portal for job candidate data entry and company portfolio management. The project development method is based on the Agile software development approach, where a team consisting of internship students collaborates in dividing job tasks based on a predetermined timeline. The development stages include understanding requirements, designing, development, testing, deployment, and review. Throughout the development process, the team faced various challenges such as learning new programming languages, unstable internet connections, and team coordination. In working on this project, the two authors, who acted as a data analyst and a web developer, played distinct yet closely related roles. The first author focused on developing the Back End, designing and creating the website using the GoLang programming language with the GoFiber framework, and managing the PostgreSQL database. Meanwhile, the second author was responsible for updating the website's appearance by leveraging HTML, CSS, and Js programming concepts, as well as several Bootstrap frameworks for the Front End. These two job tasks were collaboratively executed with the Back End to implement the latest model from templates created by the Front End. The use of the GoLang programming language and GoFiber framework for the Back End, as well as HTML, CSS, and Js for the Front End, was the focus aimed at enhancing understanding of the work to be done. The result of developing the TRMS application was an efficient system for managing candidate data and company portfolios. The application allowed the company to monitor job applicants more effectively and provided real-time access to relevant data. Thus, this application was expected to improve the candidate selection process according to company needs and provide ease of use in managing human resources.
