Abstract
Poverty is a complex multidimensional phenomenon and affects the lives of the wider community. Various social assistance is provided by the government in order to reduce poverty. However, this social assistance is often not completely able to reduce poverty. On a national scale, the poverty rate in Indonesia has decreased, but this is inversely proportional to the poverty rate in Purisemanding Village, Jombang Regency, which tends to increase. This is proven by the increasing number of recipients of the Basic Food Program assistance. This research aims to find out about the implementation of the Basic Food Program policy for poverty alleviation in Purisemanding Village, Jombang Regency. The research method in this writing is a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. Data collection through interviews, observation, documentation and literature study. The technique for determining informants uses techniques purposive which are expected to be a source of information for research. The research focus uses Matland's (1995) theory, namely Policy Accuracy, Implementation Accuracy, Target Accuracy, and Environmental Accuracy. The results of the research on the accuracy of implementation were implemented well in accordance with the problems to be solved and implemented by the authorized institutions. Accurate implementation was carried out well by the Jombang Regency Government. Target accuracy is implemented optimally and in accordance with planned targets. Environmental accuracy is less than optimal, especially in the external environment between implementers and beneficiaries.
