Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an influence between competence, organizational commitment, and transparency on fraud prevention in village fund management. The benefits of this research are as information regarding actions to prevent and minimize fraud in village governments in Palang District. This research uses quantitative methods using primary data. Data were collected through a questionnaire filled out by a sample of respondents. The population in this study were all village officials in Palang District as many as 197 people with sampling using purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 72 people. The tests carried out by this study include data quality tests, classical assumption tests, hypothesis testing, and multiple linear regression analysis. Data quality testing uses validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests using normality tests, multicolineority tests, and heteroscedastistas tests. Hypothesis testing includes f test, t test, and r2 test. The test results show that competence and organizational commitment have no significant effect on preventing fraud in village fund management. Meanwhile, transparency has a significant effect on preventing fraud in the management of village funds.
