Abstract
This research aims to describe the BUM development strategy in Betek Bangkit Mandiri Village, Mojoagung District, Jombang Regency. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The research results show that development strategies can be studied using SWOT analysis, namely strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. The strengths of BUM Desa Betek Bangkit Mandiri are the regulations for establishing BUM Desa, strategic location, sufficient capital, clear marketing targets, and collaboration between the government and the community, increasing community and PADesa income, making the village independent. Then the weakness factors are unstructured management, inadequate human resources, and lack of knowledge regarding the management of Village BUMs as well as misappropriation of Village BUM funds and not having a legal entity. The opportunity factors include additional capital assistance, adding independent villages in Jombang Regency, collaboration with third parties. The threat factors are changes in BUM Desa policies or regulations, business competitors of the same BUM Desa, natural disasters, and outsiders who don't know about BUM Desa Betek Bangkit Mandiri. After knowing the internal and external factors of BUM Betek Bangkit Mandiri Village, alternative strategies will be developed, namely SO Strategy, ST Strategy, WO Strategy and WT Strategy.
