Abstract

Every business activity is never free from the threat of risk, so a good strategy is needed to overcome it. The purpose of this study was to determine the handling of supply chain risks in the distribution process at PT Bintang Sayap Utama. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used in this study include: observation and interview methods using questionnaires, as well as documentation methods or literature studies. For data processing, researchers used the House of Risk method. The results showed that at the HOR-1 stage, data were obtained for 14 distribution process sub-activities. At the cause/risk agent identification stage, there were 66 risk agents obtained from 31 risk events. At the HOR-2 stage, the results of data analysis showed 9 risk agents based on the priority risk scale with the highest ARP value. Therefore, there are 9 risk mitigation actions that have been sorted based on the priority scale with the highest ETD value with the first order being the easiest and cheapest risk mitigation action to implement until the last order is the most difficult and expensive risk mitigation action to implement.
