Abstract
This researcher aims to determine the effect of education and training on the performance of employees of the HR and HSSE division of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional III East Java. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. This research used a population of 44 employees. The sample for this research was 44 employees of the HR and HSSE division of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional III East Java. The sampling technique used in this research is saturated sampling, namely sampling if each population is used as a sample and the population is small. Based on the data processing results, the result is that the sig value for the education variable (X1) is 0.000 < 0.05. The calculated t value – 4.911 > t table 2.0195. So H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that the educational variable has a partial effect on the performance of employees of the HR and HSSE divisions of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional III East Java. The sig value of the training variable (X2) is 0.000 < 0.05. The calculated t value is 4.320 < t table 2.0195. So H2 is accepted, meaning that the training variable has a partial negative effect on the performance of employees of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional III East Java Keywords: Education, Training, Employee Performance.
