Abstract

This factory is located on Jl. Raya Candi No.10, Sidoarjo, East Java, 61271.The main product produced by PT Candi Baru Sugar Factory is Crystal Sugar White or SHS 1 type sugar, where the capacity is 2800 tons/day.The smooth production process at PT Candi Baru Sugar Factory is supported by several sections, namely the Finance and General sections, are responsible regarding operational activities in the administrative and financial fields, HR department who is responsible for employee recruitment and establishing relationships with external parties, the Plant section responsible for cultivation of sugar cane and sugar cane seeds, cutting and transport plans and other activities regarding the supply of raw materials, the Installation section is responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of machines and installations factory, Manufacturing section responsible for internal operations sugar processing, the QC section is responsible for quality control and the quality of production raw materials and products produced. Material that used in the sugar production process consists of two types, namely raw materials main and supporting raw materials. Sugar production process at PT Candi Sugar Factory Newly divided into seven stations, namely Gilingan Station, Ketel Station, Station Refining, Cooking Station, Turning Station, and Finishing Station. In guarantee the health and safety of employees, PT.PG Candi Baru Sidoarjo has implemented an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SMK3).PT PG Candi Baru Sidoarjo has a waste processing unit as one of them efforts to minimize environmental pollution.
