Abstract

Aluminum Potassium Sulfate and Aluminium Sulphate Factory with Crystallization Process is planned for a production capacity of 60,000 tons/year. Briefly, the processes of the Aluminium potassium sulfate factory are as follows: First, Potasium sulphate and aluminum sulfat are dissolved in each solvent tank using water process then the solution of alum cake and ammonium sulfat is inserted into the reactor to react so that it forms aluminum potassiumsulphate. After that the crystal will be dried with a rotating dryer then the dryed crystal is uniformized in size using a ball mill after that it will be screened and the undersize size will go into the silo for temporary mounting and the product is ready for marketing. The plant is planned to be established in Patimban Village, Pusakanagara Prefecture, Subang District, West Java and will operate for 330 days/year.
