Abstract

This thesis is made based on the results of the author's research which describes the amount of influence of the work environment, work stress and compensation on employee performance. The author is interested in conducting this research based on the results of observations made by the author and the discovery of several problems at KBPR Arta Kencana Nganjuk Branch. Where there are still many employee absences for various reasons and the decreasing number of customers obtained. This study aims to determine whether or not there is an influence between the work environment, work stress and compensation with the performance of KBPR Arta Kencana Nganjuk Branch employees. The type of research in this study is quantitative with a questionnaire as a tool for collecting data. The research population was 32 employees of KBPR Arta Kencana Nganjuk Branch using saturated samples. This sample selection if all members of the population are included as samples or in situations where the population is said to be relatively small, namely no more than 30. The data analysis process in this study with validity and reliability testing. Classical assumption tests include multicollinearity, normality, and heteroscedasticity tests. In addition, it also conducts hypothesis testing (simultaneous test and partial test) to determine the acceptance or rejection of the hypothesis, and analyzes multiple linear regression. From the analysis conducted, the results showed a simultaneous and significant influence between the work environment, work stress, and employee performance of KBPR Arta Kencana Nganjuk Branch. In particular, there is a partial influence between the work environment on employee performance, while work stress does not have a significant partial influence on employee performance at the branch. In line with the work environment, compensation also has a partial and significant effect on employee performance. Keywords: work environment, work stress, compensation, employee performance
