Abstract

A company's existence and sustainability can be achieved, among other things, through the financing sources of the company. In this case, the company needs capital or funds. The need for capital or funds can be financed through equity, which can take the form of short-term or long-term debt obtained, among others, through bonds. This study aims to analyze the influence of leverage, liquidity, profitability, and company size on the bond ratings of non-financial companies. In this study, multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 25 was employed to process the data. The data used were secondary data, which comprised the annual financial reports of non-financial companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2019 to 2021. A total of 132 data observations were used in this study. The results of this study indicate that leverage and liquidity do not contribute to the bond ratings, while profitability is capable of contributing to the bond ratings, and company size is able to contribute to the bond ratings.
