Abstract

PT Petrokimia is a producer of fertilizer products in Indonesia. In doing their work, production employees at PT Petrokimia get high enough pressure to cause high employee mental workload. In addition, production employees at PT Petrokimia must also be exposed to noise every day, from the results of research that has been done, the noise value at PT Petrokimia is 87.4 - 101.4 dBA where this value exceeds the NAB determined by PERMENAKER No.5 of 2018. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the mental workload experienced by employees and the factors that influence it. So that PT Petrokimia can determine the right steps to improve this. The method used in measuring mental workload is the NASA TLX method. From the results of the NASA-TLX calculation of 42 employees, 6 employees have high mental workload and 36 employees have very high mental workload. The most influential factor in the mental workload received is the Time Deemend (TD) with 271 points.
